Peter Saatjian is a family law attorney and associate at Garwood Reeves, ALC.
A lifelong Southern California resident, Peter grew up in Los Angeles before attending San Diego State University and earning his law degree from California Western School of Law in San Diego. Since becoming licensed in California in 2013, he has devoted his practice exclusively to family law, representing clients in matters involving divorce, custody, support, property division, domestic violence restraining orders, and post-judgment disputes.
Peter understands that family law is ultimately about people—not cases. Whether a client is facing one of the most difficult periods of their life or is ready to move forward and build a new chapter, he believes they deserve a San Diego family law attorney who will listen carefully, provide candid guidance, and develop a strategy tailored to their goals. His approach is grounded in integrity, preparation, and clear communication, ensuring clients understand their options and can make informed decisions every step of the way.
Clients appreciate Peter’s ability to combine compassion with practical problem-solving and strong courtroom advocacy. He is comfortable litigating when necessary, but never loses sight of the larger objective: helping clients achieve the best possible outcome while protecting what matters most to them. Above all, Peter strives to be the attorney—and the person—that clients can trust to guide them through the legal process with confidence and peace of mind.
Away from the office, Peter enjoys riding his motorcycle, traveling, camping, and kayak fishing, and is a huge history nerd. He values, above all else, quality time with his family and friends, and of course his pets, Sandy and Diego.
